The Moon Country Poetry Series is a planned collection of ten volumes of translated work from contemporary South Korean poets. The first in the series, Whale and Vapor, was released in 2020. This book cover features two weights of a custom typeface that we designed: a bold weight is used in the titles and subtitles and a light weight is used in the typographic illustration. The cover is printed on a beautiful cream linen paper, giving the piece a lovely texture.
